By downloading, installing, or using Mushroom Scanner ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Mushroom Scanner is designed for educational purposes only. The App provides mushroom identification and information to help users learn about fungi. The App should not be used as the sole basis for determining whether a mushroom is safe to consume.
No Medical or Safety Guarantee
The identification results provided by Mushroom Scanner are for informational and educational use only. We do not guarantee the accuracy of any identification. Users should always consult a qualified mycologist or local expert before consuming any wild mushroom. Misidentification of mushrooms can lead to serious illness or death.
Disclaimer of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Mushroom Scanner and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of this App. This includes, but is not limited to, damages arising from reliance on any identification or information provided by the App.
User Responsibilities
By using the App, you agree to:
- Use the App for educational purposes only
- Not rely solely on the App's identification results for consumption decisions
- Seek professional advice from qualified experts before consuming wild mushrooms
- Use the App in compliance with all applicable local, state, and national laws
Subscriptions
Mushroom Scanner offers auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple's App Store. By subscribing, you agree to the following:
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
- You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
- Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription
Intellectual Property
All content within the App, including but not limited to text, images, icons, software, and design elements, is the property of Mushroom Scanner and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
